Gabriel Ekuma

Chief Gabriel A Ekuma is from Agba (Ameta) Ozizza Afikpo, Ebonyi state. He worked as a teacher and rose to the rank of a Director. He headed many secondary schools as principal. He is educated at TV University of Uyo and University of Nigeria Nsukka and got first and second degrees. Ekuma is interested in Bible translation. Hence, he quickly joined the Ehugbo Literacy and Bible Translation project since nineteen years ago. He is the vice Chairman of ELBT. Ekuma has written four unpublished books awaiting translation in the mother tongue to boost Literacy Development . Ekuma from 1996-2021and from 2016-2018 was a part time lecturer with Enugu state University of Science and Technology and Akanu Ibiam Federal Poly Uwana respectively. He stands well with Afikpo Town Welfare Association ATUWA that he has led as president (home branch) and a member of the Board of Trustees. On 8th January 2025, he was elected as Vice Chairman ROBDI. He is a chief with two titles: Ome Udo 1 of Ibii/Ozizza and Agba Egu1 of  Afikpo Autonomous community.
